Can I host a wedding or event at UMi?
Yes. We host destination weddings, vow renewals, private group getaways, yoga retreats and corporate escapes, with beach ceremonies, customised catering, on-site coordination and entertainment. Can I smoke in the suites?
No. The suites are non-smoking.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, UMi is pet friendly. Charges may apply for a pet staying in a suite. The beach club has its own dog menu: chicken, rice and vegetables, or vegetarian rice and vegetables, $60 MXN each.
Where is UMi?
UMi is on Tulum Beach Road at kilometre 8.5 (Carretera Tulum-Boca Paila), in the hotel zone, with direct access to the beach. The Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve starts further south along the same road.

How far is the airport?
Tulum International Airport (Felipe Carrillo Puerto) is 30 to 40 minutes away. We can arrange a private airport transfer straight to our door. Cancun International Airport is about two hours by car.

Our Volleyball Club runs every Wednesday all day, with 2-for-1 classic cocktails. At night there is an open-air cinema with selected films, ocean breeze and popcorn, and from Friday to Sunday our signature evening gathering brings locals, travellers and creatives together.
Do you offer massages?

Do you have yoga and workout classes?

When are the DJ sets?
Every weekend is an UMi Beach Day: a live DJ set, laid-back vibes and good food on the sand. The beach is calm during the week and livelier at the weekend.

Is there a minimum spend at the beach club?
There is no minimum consumption at the beach club, and towel service is included. Beach beds for UMi Tribe pin holders carry a minimum consumption.

What kind of food do you serve?
Mexican cuisine with international touches, built around fresh, local ingredients and the freshest seafood: ceviches and aguachiles, tacos and quesadillas, sandwiches, grilled octopus, salmon and whole fish, paired with signature cocktails. The menus mark gluten free, vegetarian, lactose free and vegan dishes.
What are the restaurant hours?
The restaurant is open every day from 8am to 11pm. Breakfast is served from 8am to 1pm, then lunch and dinner until 11pm.
