We host weddings for up to 80 guests on our beach, at kilometre 8.5 of Tulum Beach Road (Carretera Tulum-Boca Paila), in the hotel zone. The ceremony is on the sand, the cocktail hour and reception run at our beach club, and the whole thing is planned with you by our own team. Below is exactly what each of our three packages includes, so you can tell quickly whether we fit the wedding you have in mind.
How many guests can we host?
Up to 80, seated or standing. That ceiling shapes everything here. We are a small place, with 14 suites, and a wedding at UMi feels like the beach has been handed over to your people for the day rather than slotted in next to someone else's party.
If your list is closer to 150, we are not the right venue, and it is better to know that now.
Our three wedding packages

Serenity, for up to 20 guests
Serenity is the small one: the ceremony on the sand with an arch and seating, a bouquet and boutonniere, personalised planning help, a sparkling wine toast and a three-course dinner on the beach. The couple gets one night in a private rooftop suite and a special breakfast for two the morning after. It suits an elopement with family, or a wedding where everyone fits around one long table.
Blissful Tides, for up to 40 guests
Blissful Tides adds the parts most people end up wanting once the guest list grows. Custom beachfront decor and floral centrepieces, a two-tier cake, a professional photographer for three hours and live acoustic music during the ceremony. After the vows there is a cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres and a premium open bar, then a private reception dinner. The couple stays two nights in the oceanfront suite, with a spa treatment for two.
Eternal Love, for up to 80 guests
Eternal Love is the full day, coordinated end to end by our team. A ceremony setup with flowers and decor, a three-hour premium open bar, a plated reception dinner, a three-tier cake, and a DJ with a dance floor on the beach. The couple stays three nights in the beachfront suite with rooftop and has a private romantic dinner the following evening. You also leave with a two-night complimentary stay, valid for a year after departure (restrictions apply), which most couples use for their first anniversary.
Optional extras
We can add any of these to a package, priced on request:
- A traditional Mayan ceremony: performed on the beach, alongside or in place of a standard ceremony.
- Professional videography: on top of the photographer in Blissful Tides and Eternal Love.
- Floral design upgrades: for the arch, the tables or both.
- Group activities: snorkelling trips or yoga sessions for your guests on the days around the wedding.
Where your guests stay
We have 14 suites, and six of them are rooftop suites with private terraces, over the ocean or the jungle. For a wedding that usually means the couple, parents and wedding party stay with us, and the rest of the guests book nearby. Breakfast is included with every suite and is served at our restaurant from 8am, which makes the morning after easy.
Our team also arranges private airport transfers. Tulum International Airport (TQO) is 30 to 40 minutes from our door; Cancun International Airport (CUN) is about two hours by car. Parking is free for guests who drive.
Not only weddings
The same beach and the same team host vow renewals, proposals, birthdays, private group getaways, yoga retreats and corporate escapes. Catering is customised from menus built on local flavours, and entertainment ranges from live music and DJs to cultural performances.
